Inbound Operations Processes
Exporter/Shipper
~ Prepares shipping documents
- Shipping invoice (attached a sample of shipping invoice template for KR)
- Packing list
- AWB
~ Send pre-alert to YOU for review via email
* Inquire the template form via emailing to us.
Importer – IOR Korea
~ Checks shipping documents and products for import requirements
- IOR Korea will review the shipping documents and advise YOU and its customers of the requirements
- IOR K will apply for required import license/permit
Importer – IOR Korea
~ Import license approved
-IOR Korea informed YOU of license approval
- Approval to ship given by YOU to Exporter/Shipper @ origin
Exporter/Shipper
~ Dispatch shipment via appointed Logistics Service Provider (LSP)
Arrival in Destination
~ Appointed LSP
- Notify Partner agent upon shipment arrival in country
- LSP clears shipments using IOR Korea details as importer
- LSP pays duties and taxes on behalf of shipper
- LSP delivers shipments to consignee
- LSP to provide import clearance documents to IEOR Korea for filing

Outbound Operations Processes
Customer at origin
~ Prepares shipping documents
- Shipping invoice (attached a sample of export shipping invoice template for KR)
- Packing list
- AWB
~ Send pre-alert to YOU for review via email

Exporter – IOR
~ Checks shipping documents and products for export requirements
- IOR Korea will review the shipping documents and advise YOU and its customers of the requirements
- IOR Korea will apply for required export license/permit
Outbound Operations Processes - Strategic Shipments
Exporter – IOR Korea
~ Export license approved
- IOR will notify YOU of export license approval
IOR Korea Exporter/Shipper
~ Arrange for pick-up from Customer’s place
~ IOR Korea performs Export Customs Clearance (if necessary)
~ IOR Korea liaise with the LSP to physically ship out the shipment.
Please note that the above export process is for strategic shipments out of KR only.
For normal shipments that do not require export permit, IOR Korea will only provide EOR service.
Pick up and export clearance will be performed by customer’s appointed LSP.
